Crete Cost Breakdown: A Budget Guide for Two People

I recently went to Crete and it was an amazing trip! So I wanted to help you guys out and give you the cost breakdown as its important to budget for all the various expenses you’ll incur during your stay

Crete for 5 days in November 2022.

Flights: £365 (Easy Jet)

Car Transfers: £36

Accommodation: £778 (for half board at Stella Island)

Archeological Museum: €6

Bus Tour: €15

Palace of Knossos: €8

Total: £1,194 (or approximately €1,344)

As you can see, the biggest chunk of the budget is allocated to our flights and accommodation. If you’re looking to save money on these items, consider booking well in advance or opting for a budget-friendly accommodation option. I always use the pay at the hotel option, therefor giving me more time to save up for the trip!

Other expenses to consider during your trip might include meals (beyond what is included in your accommodation), souvenirs, and additional activities or attractions. Keep in mind that prices in Crete can vary widely, so it’s always a good idea to do some research and compare options before making any decisions.

Overall, Crete is a budget-friendly destination with plenty of options for travellers of all budgets. With some careful planning and budgeting, you can have an amazing trip without breaking the bank like we did.
