As a travel content creator, I was excited to attend the Destination Show at Kensington Olympia recently. The show was packed with a variety of big and small travel companies, as well as expert talks by travel industry professionals.
The expert talks were a highlight for me, as I was able to gain valuable insights from industry professionals about the current state of travel. They shared their experiences and best practices for making the most of each travel experience, as well as tips on the upcoming hot destinations for 2023 which included Japan, Guyana and Copenhagen
The show was also a great opportunity to see some of the latest travel products and services from big brands, as well as get a taste of what smaller, more boutique companies have to offer. I was particularly impressed by the level of creativity and innovation displayed at the Wanderlust VR section, where attendees could experience virtual trips to different destinations around the world. This was a truly unique and innovative aspect of the show and it was amazing to be able to see so many incredible places in one place. Whether you were visiting a bustling city or a tropical beach, the VR section allowed you to experience it all from the comfort of your own headset. It was a cool way to explore new destinations and get inspired for your next trip.
Overall, the show was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in travel and travel content creation. Whether you’re looking to network, learn more about the industry, or just find inspiration for your next adventure, the Destination Show is a must-visit event.
