As a travel content creator, I’ve had my fair share of hotel experiences, but my stay at the NEXT by Savoy Signature in Funchal, Madeira, truly stands out. Back in February 2022, I had the pleasure of spending a few nights at this stunning hotel, and what an experience it was!

The highlight of my room was undoubtedly the sea-view balcony. Waking up to the gentle sounds of the ocean and the breathtaking views of the Atlantic was an experience in itself. The room was tastefully decorated, complementing the overall aesthetic of the hotel, and provided all the comfort and amenities I needed.
One of the crown jewels of the NEXT by Savoy Signature is its rooftop bar and infinity pool. The rooftop offers an unparalleled view of Funchal and the ocean, making it the perfect spot to unwind with a cocktail in hand. The infinity pool, with its crystal-clear water, seemed to merge seamlessly with the sea, creating a mesmerizing effect.
Despite its seemingly secluded ambiance, the hotel is conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from Funchal’s main area. This made it incredibly easy to explore the city’s charming streets, local cuisine, and vibrant culture.
A notable mention is the affordability of this luxury experience. For just £215, it was a steal, although it’s important to note that this didn’t include breakfast. However, with the variety of dining options in and around the hotel, this wasn’t an issue at all.
In conclusion, my stay at the NEXT by Savoy Signature was nothing short of amazing. It’s a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience, all set against the stunning backdrop of Madeira’s natural beauty. If you’re planning a trip to Funchal, this hotel should definitely be on your list!
