For my birthday this year, my husband surprised me with an incredible six-day stay at the RIU Palace Paradise Island, an adults-only all-inclusive resort in the Bahamas. Located on the breathtaking Cabbage Beach, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. The weather during our stay was ideal, with warm temperatures of 26 to 27°C and a gentle ocean breeze.
The room was clean and comfortable, offering everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed waking up each morning to the sound of the waves and the stunning beach right outside.
The dining options at the resort were fantastic, with something for everyone. One of the highlights for me was the jerk buffet, where the flavours were absolutely incredible. On the night of my birthday, the restaurant staff surprised me by singing “Happy Birthday,” which made the evening even more special.
During the day, we relaxed by the infinity pools, enjoying drinks from the swim-up bar and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The resort also offers direct access to Cabbage Beach, where we spent some time taking in the beautiful scenery and the crystal-clear waters.
RIU Palace Paradise Island is the perfect destination for couples looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway. Between the stunning location on Cabbage Beach, the delicious dining, and the attentive staff, this trip was truly unforgettable. My husband couldn’t have chosen a better way to celebrate my birthday, and I can’t wait to visit again!
