I recently stayed at Paradisus by Meliá in Gran Canaria for my bday and it was a great experience. If you’re looking for a high-quality all-inclusive hotel with excellent service, plenty of food options, and a great location, this one ticks all the boxes.
Room & Price
I booked the Junior Suite with an ocean view, and it was stunning. The room was spacious, modern, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The total price for four people sharing came to £2,194, which, considering the quality and the fact that it was all-inclusive, felt like good value.
Dining Options
The hotel has multiple restaurants, so there’s plenty of variety. Whether you want fine dining, a casual meal, or even a sports bar vibe, there’s something for everyone. There’s also a 24-hour bar, which is a nice touch if you fancy a late-night drink or snack. The food was excellent, with a wide selection of dishes available every day.
One highlight was the free wine tasting experience, which was a fun way to try some local wines without leaving the hotel.

The hotel has several pools, including a dedicated kids’ pool, so whether you’re looking to relax or keep the family entertained, there’s space for everyone. The sun loungers were always available, and there was no mad rush in the mornings to reserve spots, which was a relief.

The service throughout the hotel was top-notch. Staff were friendly, helpful, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Whether it was in the restaurants, bars, or reception, everyone was professional and welcoming.
Location & Getting Around
The hotel is in a great location if you want to explore the area. The bus stop is just five minutes away, making it easy to get to Las Palmas, the island’s capital. If you’re heading to the Yumbo Center in Maspalomas, it’s only about a 10-minute drive.
